Phosphate Absorbers
For patients with chronic kidney disease, Phosphate Absorbers are to be taken just before, or with meals. Commonly used drugs are: Renagel® (sevelamer)
, Renvela® (sevelamer carbonate), PhosLo® (calcium acetate), Fosrenol® (lanthanum carbonate).
Use the

VideoVISUAL Indicator: Simply set the alarm one hour before you are scheduled to take your Phosphate Absorber pills (usually at mealtime). When you look at the e-pill the display will be
FLASHING -- this is your (discreet) reminder to take your Phosphate Absorber pills. If you had already taken them the display would be solid (

TAKE your Phosphate Absorber MEDICATION(s) Then simply replace the cap (you will hear a brief beep to verify that you have replaced the cap correctly). Watch these VIDEOs:
